If you book your stay via our homepage, all data will be collected by the service provider Travel Click and forwarded to us in the form of an e-mail, with the exception of credit card details.


§ 5.2 Transmission in the context of applications


We process the data that you have sent us in connection with your application in order to check your suitability for the position (or possibly other positions in our company) and to carry out the application process. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data in this application process is primarily Section 26 BDSG of the General Data Protection Regulation. According to this, the processing of data required in connection with the decision on the establishment of an employment relationship is permitted.


Your application data will be reviewed by the HR department upon receipt of your application. Within our company, we will determine whether your application is suitable for the position we have advertised. For this purpose, we may pass on the information from your application internally to persons authorized to make decisions. We would like to inform you that, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to request information about your data stored by us at any time and to have it changed or deleted. Please contact our HR department for this purpose. If you are not hired, your application documents and the personal data sent with them will be deleted after a maximum of six months. Please understand that we will not return application folders received by post, but will destroy them.


We partly use the Hotel Career website (published by YOURCAREERGROUP GmbH, Völklinger Straße 1, 40219 Düsseldorf) for the application process. This company acts as a service provider for us and may also obtain knowledge of your personal data in connection with the maintenance and care of the systems. The Grandhotel Hessischer Hof accesses this data in a protected area. However, the data protection provisions of the service provider apply.
