Cultivating cultural heritage
In two foundations, the house of Hesse maintains and preserves the numerous cultural assets of the landgraves and electors of Hesse – Kassel as well as the landgraves and Grand Dukes of Hesse-Darmstadt and feels obliged to the preservation of this cultural heritage.
The cultural foundation
The newly established, charitable cultural foundation of the house of Hesse cultivates and receives the majority of the artifacts of the house of Hesse-Kassel and leads the museum Schloss Fasanerie near Fulda.
The hessian house foundation
Today the hessian house foundation consists of the Schlosshotel Kronberg, the Grandhotel Hessischer Hof in Frankfurt, as well as the vineyard Prinz von Hessen in the Rheingau and agricultural possession in Schleswig – Holstein, the Trakehner-Gestüt Panker and the princely garden celebration in Schloss Wofsgarten and Schloss Fasanerie.
